Accomplishments
- Approximately 15 community service projects are completed annually by TnT and partner program youth during Servathon month, including neighborhood clean-ups, baking cookies for local nursing homes and hosting a tennis clinic for disabled children from Hope Haven.
- Approximately 30 kids participate in our Leadership Program program, including USA Team Tennis, Grand Prix Tennis and USTA matches.
- Through our HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, food baskets are provided to more than 40 families each Thanksgiving and clothing and toys are provided to more than 75 families annually.
- Each year, TnT receives an “Above Satisfactory Assessment Score” from the Jacksonville Children’s Commission, our largest funder, including a perfect score on our three most recent assessments.
- The Verizon Wireless Kids for Kids Tennis Carnival is held annually, bringing kids together from all over the city to raise funds for MWKF programs.
- The Mercedes-Benz/MaliVai Washington Golf and Tennis Gala continues to be our largest fundraising event, raising six figures in each of the last four years.
