Who is MaliVai (Mal-uh-VEE-yah) Washington?
MaliVai Washington is a retired tennis professional who started to play at the age of five. He attended the University of Michigan and then became a member of the ATP Tour. Washington reached the Wimbledon finals in 1996 and was a member of the U.S. Olympic and Davis Cup teams.
What is the MaliVai Washington Kids Foundation (MWKF)?
MWKF is a non-profit organization that creates champions on the court, in the classroom and in the community by teaching tennis and “growing kids through the game.”
Where is MWKF located?
MWKF’s corporate office is located on Jacksonville’s north side at the Ben Durham Business Building at 2933 North Myrtle Avenue Suite 101, Jacksonville, Florida 32209. Our five-day after-school program TnT (Tennis & Tutoring) is at the Emmett Reed Community Center in Durkeeville. Partner programs are located throughout greater Jacksonville.

How do I enroll my child in a MWKF program?
Contact MWKF office for program availability. We accept most participants for TnT in the summer for the upcoming school year. Other locations require regular participation in our partner organizations.

The Board of Directors is comprised of a committed group of community leaders, presided over by MWKF Founder MaliVai Washington.
How can I join the Board of Directors?

What is the Gala?
The two-day Golf and Tennis Gala is our biggest event! It kicks off with a tennis pro-am, followed by a gala dinner. The gala includes cocktails, silent and live auctions, and a short awards ceremony. The next day the event continues with a golf pro-am.
