Kossak Companies Golf & Tennis Gala

The Kossak Companies Golf & Tennis Gala serves as MWKF’s largest fundraising event. Each September, donors, supporters, and friends enjoy this two day event-all to benefit the programs and activities of MWKF. This year's event will be held September 14th & 15th.  On the Monday after Labor Day, Deerwood Country Club will kick off the event with a Tennis Pro-Am followed by a brief awards ceremony. The evening will end with a Gala Dinner and Auction at the beautiful Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa (a Marriott Resort) where deserving students are recognized with awards and college scholarships. On Tuesday, at the Marsh Landing Country Club, the Golf Pro-Am will begin with a shot gun scramble followed by an awards ceremony.

Past celebrities have included Andre Agassi, Ivan Lendl, Jim Furyk, Calvin Peete, Chris Evert, Tony Boselli, Tony Brackens, Todd Martin, Tom Gullikson, Brian Gottfried, Amer Delic, Doc Rivers, Joe Dumars, Dee Brown and numerous other stars of the sports & entertainment community.

This year, we are doing something slightly different with our Gala- we are now offering Gala drawing tickets for a donation of $100. Great prizes can be won, including tickets and accomodations to the 2010 US Open in New York City, or the 2010 PGA Championships in Kohler, Wisconsin, a 40" Samsung TV, and a $500 Visa Gift Card. The drawing date for the tickets will be September 14, 2009 during the Gala Dinner at 8:30pm.
