Servathon

While most of the kids in Foundation programs spend their afternoons perfecting their serve on the tennis courts, from Martin Luther King Day through President’s Day of each year a different kind of serving takes place through MWKF’s annual Servathon. During this time our youth perform various community service projects as a thank you to the community that graciously provides its service to MWKF every day. Servathon is a return of service on behalf of the many donors and volunteers who serve us each year.

Past projects include:

  • Cleaning up the city parks and neighborhoods
  • Baking cookies for the elderly
  • Reading with young day care students
  • Conducting tennis clinics for disabled youth
  • Making get well cards for the guests of the Ronald McDonald House
  • Random acts of kindness for Super Bowl visitors
