For Immediate Release MEDIA ADVISORY MWKF Students Share the Court with Mayor Peyton and Sheriff Rutherford Who: Mayor John Peyton, Sheriff John Rutherford and the kids of the MaliVai Washington Kids Foundation When: Friday, April 27, 2007 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Where: The Emmett Reed Community Center (Tennis Courts) What: On Friday, April 27, both the Mayor and Sheriff will engage in a little friendly competition with the kids on the courts of the Emmett Reed Community Center. For the 4th year in a row, Mayor John Peyton and Sheriff John Rutherford take to the tennis courts to play with a group of young tennis players from the MaliVai Washington Kids Foundation. The event will begin around 3:30 p.m. Also, the Mayor and Sherriff will briefly meet, greet and take pictures with some of the 80 plus dedicated mentors that participate in MWKF’s mentoring program.
