MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation

About

Serving Hope. Changing Lives.

About Us

The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation promotes academic achievement and positive life skills in Jacksonville youth through the game of tennis. We use tennis to engage youth in an active and fun recreation program.  As you take a look through our site, you will find that what we offer is so much more!

By correlating success on the court with success in life, we foster leadership, sportsmanship, self-esteem, confidence, discipline, accountability and the value of hard work, teamwork and individual effort.

Our Mission

The mission of the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation is to develop champions in classrooms, on tennis courts and throughout communities.

PRograms

The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation has developed innovative, one-of-a-kind programs in order to reach as many underserved children in Jacksonville as possible.

The Youth Center

In May 2008, the new MaliVai Washington Youth Center opened its doors at 6th and Payne streets in the historic Durkeeville neighborhood of Jacksonville, FL. This $3.8 million state-of-the-art facility has allowed MWYF to expand its impact and serve more children and families in this economically depressed area.
