This year, MWYF’s Student Athlete of the Year scholarship was given to 12-year-old Neriah, the youngest winner in program history! Check out our blog to read about what the award meant to her and what it was like to prepare and give a speech in front of 400 people at our Annual Current/Sherman Group Champions for Children Gala.
We have plenty of fun activities planned for the fall including: Tennis Play Day on November 10th where our students will be playing tennis and participating in other fun outdoor activities, a fall Career Day where volunteers will spend the afternoon with our middle and high school students talking about their career path, and Thanksgiving Sorting (November 20) and Basket Delivery (November 21) where volunteers will sort and deliver food baskets/turkeys to MWYF families.

One of the most important gifts you can give us is the gift of your time. Whether you prefer to work at a special event, mentor a child, or help in our programs or office, there is a variety of ways to get involved. MWYF is able to provide outstanding programs and services to Jacksonville's at-risk youth through generous donations from people like you. Unrestricted gifts allow us to address our most critical needs. However, we have a select number of unique and meaningful programs that are also funded through donor support. Contributions are tax deductible.
Our Annual Gala recognizes our student athletes for all of their hard work and success on and off the tennis court. We hope that you will join us at this year's Annual Gala on October 4, 2018 to witness some of the amazing accomplishments of our brightest student-athletes.
